Freshies are gearing up for what will be the second Fresh Arts Feast exhibition at Lazy River Estate, 29R Old Dubbo Road, Dubbo, opening on 7 October at 6pm. Thirteen of the collective’s members are exhibiting in this exhibition, curated by Kim V. Goldsmith. The exhibition will also form part of Lazy River’s Food Fashion Fine Arts Feast Day on Sunday, 9 October from 10am – 4pm. Alchemical reactions in Molong

Artists at the Alchemy opening, 15 May 2011

On 15 May, Fresh Arts Inc. opened its 19th group show in Molong at Jayes Gallery. The exhibition involved 15 of the Fresh Arts’ members and was curated by Jayes Gallery artist and curator, Joy Engelman. Titled Alchemy, the exhibition includes ceramics, sculpture, painting, mixed media work and photography from a group of artists living in Dubbo, Narromine and Geurie.

The works are diversely rich in concept, medium and execution and like the process of alchemy turning base metals into gold, Fresh Arts is about turning collective, raw talent into gold. The show runs until 5 June.
